Nature has created things that Fluoresce naturally. Examples are, Rocks, Minerals, and some Scorpions, and Fungi. These organic and inorganic forms, naturally fluoresce, but can not be seen by the human eye unless we use a object like a UV Black Light Torch. When we wash our clothes, use washing powder, or liquid, with optical brighteners included, these helps to make our white clothing appear whiter, and our colours look brighter. |

Black light products have one main advantage over glow in the dark products. In the begining of the Glow cycle, glow in the dark products glow very brightly, but over time the intencity of glow rapidly diminshes. Black lights will continue to fluoresce at the same intencity as long as the UV black light source is applied to it. Another advantage of blacklight products is that they will fluoresce in many more colours than glow products. They are more expensive than glow products to buy, but their superior properties make them more suitable to many situations.
